HOW WE STARTED
On a family trip to the U.S., Miguel and Kathleen noticed that finding quality lemon juice with great flavor, a cooking staple in Mexico, was hard to find. They soon took their four, moved to Southern California, and started selling Lucy's Lemon Juice out of their garage and in the produce market of Downtown LA.
Edgar, Miguel and Kathleen's oldest son, having grown up around the business and just finishing his business degree, decided join the family business and started selling Lucy's products online. Steven, Edgar's brother soon joins the team to help bring a new direction to the e-commerce side of the business.
With the help of Steven, the online side of the business started pushing towards organic products, starting with Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Gradually Lucy's has been creating more organic and certified non-gmo products trying to create healthy products that people want.
Here at Lucy's we know that everything we do, big or small, has an impact on our customer's lives. We want to honor our parents hard work and the legacy they've built, but also pave a way towards products that will stand the test of time. We know that our products have the potential to significantly improve lives and make a huge difference.
